Ever since I can remember I have liked puzzles, figuring out how things work, and creating things.  Art allows me to make and solve my own puzzles.  Whether it's trying to convey depth and texture in an oil painting or making a piece out of paper/mixed media - there is always a problem that needs a creative solution.  Every piece has its challenges and rewards and that is what keeps it interesting.
